About Our Nose Work Classes

Cheeky Dog nose work classes are not scheduled like traditional classes. Students who start together in a class move forward together as a class. The Noses & Boxes Intro Class automatically becomes the Intro to Odor and so on, as the dogs’ and handlers’ skills improve. Basic class descriptions:

The Noses and Boxes Intro Class:

Experience the new and growing sport of Nose Work! The class is a great mental workout for your dog, which makes for a happy dog and handler! Open to all ages, sizes, and types of dogs—all they need is a nose! We begin dogs on primary source. This class focuses on building hunt drive, problem solving, and building confidence.

Nose work is for all dogs and for all handlers, whether you want to compete or just have fun with your dog.

Intro to Odor Class, which follows the Noses and Boxes Intro Class:

This class introduces your dog to odor and focuses on foundation, handler skills, and learning how to read your dog.

If there is no new class beginning at the advanced levels and if you are interested in joining a class, email me and I will put you on a waiting list and notify you when a new class will be starting or an opening at an appropriate level becomes available.
